By becoming a certified ENLS Trainer, your name and contact information will be included in the ENLS Trainer Directory, which is visible to NCS members. You may choose to opt out or adjust what information is displayed by visiting your profile settings and selecting which details you would like to make public in the directory.

ENLS Trainers must agree to:

  • Represent the Neurocritical Care Society.
  • Be responsible for effectively and efficiently communicating the materials of each module to participants.
  • Use materials consistent with the most recent version of ENLS
  • Refrain from expressing personal opinions about controversial topics
  • Communicate information required to complete certification tests
  • Convey enthusiasm for the material through tone, rate of speech, and body language, to improve the participants’ perception of the course and material
  • Uphold the copyright of ENLS material.
  • Use the trainer resources only for approved ENLS educational activities.
  • Use only approved logos and screen images and provide credit to the NCS.
  • Use only approved slide decks, without any content modifications.
  • Hold harmless the NCS and/or other facilities utilized to provide a live ENLS course from any and all liability for damage to or loss of goods or property during the course.
  • Indemnify and hold harmless the NCS from any claim, demand, loss, liability damage, or expense arising in any way from their performance or services under an ENLS Live Course Host Agreement.
  • Not redistribute any of the ENLS content to anyone.
  • Not share password/login credentials.
  • Not violate any proprietary rights of others.
  • Present information that is factually accurate and contains nothing unlawful.
  • Not discriminate among participants for any reason including race, national origin, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability (physical or mental), age, or parental status.
  • Not include any advertising material, commercial promotion, solicitation, and/or sales of any type during any part of the presentation.
  • Meet all eligibility requirements on the day of a live ENLS course:
    • Current ENLS certification status (certification is valid for two years)
    • Current NCS membership status
    • Current Train-the-Trainer certification status (certification is valid for four years)

The ENLS Train-the-Trainer certification is valid for 4 years.

    This course provides an overview of NCS policies and procedures pertaining to planning and teaching a live ENLS

    ENLS Trainers must agree to:

    • Refrain from expressing personal opinions about controversial topics
    • Communicate information required to complete certification tests
